He is taking his time (sigh). I also have the Ontario Ombudsman ready to pounce on him should the minister refuse my request. The Ombudsman said he will help me and has already taken on my case. With the Ombudsman and the Supreme Court of Canada on our side, it will be difficult for the Ontario government to refuse this. I hope that I succeed not only for my son's sake but for all the fathers that were denied. They number in the thousands. In Ontario, the government admits that they wiped out the names of over 90 percent of the fathers. No unwed father's names appear on OBC's from the 1960's. 1970's or the early 1980's. They were either whited out, pasted over or forcibly left blank like mine (I was told that the name would be filled in when the paternity statement was made - little did I know that the government/adoption agencies would gang up on my son's father the way that they did.)
