It is not clear how deep in the process of adoption this family was before the quake hit, but this story has some questionable overtones over and above what baby Love Child has already pointed out in her posts. The article states, "Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., announced Saturday that the State Department had given the Lancers the green light to bring him home from Haiti." The pre-adoptive father is a lawyer. People with money are going after poor people's children. Where's the Trauma Response Team to help this child cope with what he lived through?
